Canvey Island and Hornchurch will go head-to-head in the BBC Essex Senior Cup Final on Tuesday 18th March at Colchester United FC’s JobServe Community Stadium (kick-off 7:45pm), and tickets are now on sale for the big match.
The showpiece fixture is expected to attract a large crowd. Parking information has also been confirmed for supporters, with tickets/permits priced at £15 for adults, £8 for seniors aged 65+ and under 18s, and £2 for under 16s. Hornchurch supporters will be situated in Blocks 1-3 of the West Stand, while Canvey fans can watch from Blocks 7-9 of the West Stand.
Supporters can take advantage of the Park & Ride facilities in Cuckoo Farm Way. Further premium parking spaces at the stadium can be booked at the point of purchasing a ticket online. Bars and refreshments will be readily available around the stadium and matchday programmes can be obtained for £2 each.
Essex County FA Chief Executive, Brendan Walshe, is looking forward to another showcase event for local grassroots football, explaining: “We always anticipate the BBC Essex Senior Cup Final as one of the marquee events for the local game each season. We have two excellent teams meeting for what will be a fascinating match, which we’re really looking forward to.”
Match tickets will be available on the night from a self-service machine in the Club Shop (card only), though booking online and using the Print@Home/smartphone option is advised to reduce queuing. The game will only show on the self-serve machine on the day. The Ticket Office is also open in-person from Monday to Friday (10:00am-2:00pm).
Only wheelchair, disabled or carer tickets can be arranged via (01206) 755161 (Monday to Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm). Anyone requiring wheelchair access should create an online ticket account first before contacting to book (all other tickets are to be booked online including ambulant disabled tickets).
And it’ll be more than just a hugely-anticipated match at the JobServe Community Stadium, as the Essex County FA once again stage popular Referee and Coach Workshops, plus the FA Cup silverware will also be in attendance, providing an incredible photo opportunity!
In addition to a commercial partnerships event, there are additional referee and coach workshops with FIFA and Premier League referee, Sam Barrott, and Millwall FC Head of Coaching, Dan Mlinar. The booking window is now open via the links below.
