As well the hugely-anticipated BBC Essex Women’s Cup Final on Thursday 10th April at Colchester United FC’s JobServe Community Stadium, we're staging referee, coach and partnerships workshops. It’ll be more than just a match!

The Women’s FA Cup silverware will also be in attendance, too, providing an incredible photo opportunity! Places will shortly be available to book, subject to availability, and a match ticket will be included in the booking cost. All attendees will be invited to enjoy the match from the West Stand after their workshop has concluded.

Referees Workshop: This year, we plan to welcome a FIFA and Women’s Super League referee along for the evening (subject to any international appointments). They will be sharing their journey from grassroots football to the professional game as part of a development session, as well as answering any questions from those in attendance.

Coaches Workshop: Open to all coaches (no qualification necessary), this session qualifies as accredited FA CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours for Level 1-4 coaches. A guest speaker will be confirmed very soon, who will provide some key coaching background and advice, as well as featuring in a question-and-answer session.

Save the date in your diary! The events will run from 6:15-7:30pm, with the showpiece cup final kicking-off at 7:45pm. All attendees are invited to enjoy the match from the West Stand after the event has concluded. Booking links will be shared very soon via our website.
