Essex FA Equal Game Ambassador Opportunities
Essex FA is looking for two enthusiastic and experienced individuals with a passion for grassroots football to join the team as Equal Game Ambassadors.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting grassroots football clubs in applying their learnings from the Equal Game Training and building their own Equal Game Action Plan, creating more accessible opportunities for women and girls.
One of The FA's 'game-changer' objectives from the 2020-24 Grassroots Football Strategy is to ensure girls have equal access to football, in both schools and clubs. We are now recruiting a small team of Equal Game Ambassadors to provide England Football Accredited clubs with off-field support in creating, maintaining and developing their female offer to ensure there are inclusive, safe and accessible opportunities available for all girls.
These roles will be aligned to the introduction of the new 'Equal Game' training programme which is designed to upskill club volunteers to be motivated, knowledgeable, confident, and capable to develop more club-based opportunities for women and girls to play, coach, volunteer and/or spectate.
A full job description can be found below. The closing date for these positions is 5:00pm on Tuesday 8th November. Please complete the Application Form and the ‘Section 12 Equality & Monitoring Form’ and return them via E-Mail to recruitment@essexfa.com.
