Local football clubs have the opportunity to submit their thoughts and feedback on Essex’s County Cup Competitions following the launch of a new online survey which forms part of a new comprehensive review.

A previous consultation conducted during the 2019/20 campaign resulted in the introduction of an over 45 Essex Veterans Trophy and the Essex U12 Girls Cup, giving the opportunity for a County Cup to all competitive football in the county. Additionally, extra seeding was introduced into our youth competitions which have seen an encouraging increase in entries.

Now, aligned to the Essex County FA ‘2014 Moving Forward’ Strategy, we’re looking to continue our dialogue with clubs and open a further consultation with all teams. So whether they entered County Cups or not in 2022/23, all clubs are able to complete the online survey. Responses are welcomed until 31st January.

The results will enable a working group to identify further trends and ideas as we continue to make County Cups as appealing and accessible as possible in the future.
