BBC Essex Senior Cup Fourth Round Draw
The BBC Essex Senior Cup continues, with the Fourth Round ties being broadcast on Thursday 1st December.
We are down to the last 16 of the competition, with teams from the Football League, the National League still in the competition. There are also two Essex Senior League sides from step 5 of the National League System remaining, with Saffron Walden and Romford the two lowest ranked sides in the draw, both having defeated higher-level opposition.
The draw was broadcast on BBC Essex this evening, with BBC Essex Sport’s Glenn Speller drawing the home teams and Essex FA Director Barry Fitzgerald drawing the away teams. These ties are due to be played on or before the 14th January 2023
Current holders Billericay Town have been drawn away at Harlow Town. Last season’s runners-up Bowers & Pitsea have been drawn at home to Canvey Island.
In a repeat of last season’s competition, the Football League’s Colchester United find themselves with a home draw against Saffron Walden Town. National League side Southend United are at home to Braintree Town.
The other step 5 team left in the competition, Romford, have a home tie against Hornchurch.
