Essex Referee Re-Registration Underway

Match Officials Prepare for the 2019/20 Season

Around 1,600 referees in Essex are in the process of re-registering for the 2019/20 season, including those just setting out in the game and match officials who have progressed to officiating in the professional arena.

Essex County FA referee re-registrations opened in July and can still be completed using The FA’s online ‘Whole Game System’, which is accessible via www.essexfa.com. Once complete, a new registration number will be issued for the forthcoming campaign.

The County FA support the development of new and existing referees, from initially booking them onto courses and helping them to gain promotion, then mentoring and observing them throughout their career. Free development workshops are also available during the season.

Beyond re-registration, the FA Whole Game System has many additional features for referees, including online misconduct reporting, the management of personal contact details and equality and diversity information.

Existing referees can re-register via this page. New referees can find information on workshops and courses here and information is also shared on Twitter @EssexCountyFA and by searching for ‘EssexFootball’ on Facebook.
