Matchday Behaviour Awareness Workshop
#PlayYourPart Matchday Environment Resources
Clubs, referees, spectators, coaches, players and all other participants
Matchday Behaviour Awareness Workshops are for teams who have received an E-Mail from the Essex County FA because they, or their club, have reached the 25-point penalty threshold.
Attendance at this workshop provides evidence to the Essex County FA that you are taking action towards improving you and/or your club's matchday behaviours as part of your action plan. This workshop covers areas such as:
* recognition of the importance of the reciprocal relationships between all stakeholders on a matchday
* the impact of behaviour on learning, safety, engagement and respect
* the impact of behaviour on performance outcomes
* why managing behaviours requires clearly-defined boundaries, and the consequences if these were to be 'broken'
* the discipline process moving forward
After the workshop, you should be able to recognise gaps in the management of your matchday behaviours which require closing. You'll also recognise the positive work that you are already doing, but will be aware of the consequences if any negative matchday behaviours were not to improve.
