Echo Junior League Achieve England Football Accreditation

Outstanding Delivery Plan Highlights Vision and Strategies

The Echo Junior League have proudly achieved England Football Accredited League status, marking a significant milestone for grassroots football in Essex.

With 846 teams, of which an impressive 714 are now accredited, the league boast an 84% accreditation rate, making them one of the largest in the county to reach this level.

The accreditation recognizes not only the size and commitment of the Echo League, but also their forward-thinking approach. As part of the accreditation process, the league submitted an outstanding delivery plan which highlights their vision and concrete strategies for growth and improvement in the coming years.

A key development within the league is their expansion of opportunities for young female players. For the first time, the Echo League have introduced female-only divisions, currently featuring an Under 11s Girls Division, with plans underway to establish an Under 13s Girls age group as well.

This milestone is a testament to the league's dedication to inclusivity and their commitment to fostering a supportive environment for all players. The Echo Junior League’s accreditation reflects both the league’s achievements and their exciting future trajectory in grassroots football.

Essex County FA Football Development Officer, Jake Fairman, commented: “The Echo Junior League play a major role in providing youth football provision across our London Boroughs, so it's great to see them taking a positive step in looking to the future and becoming England Football Accredited. It's amazing to see the league branch out and start an all-girls division, too.”
