The Essex County FA Youth Forum are seeking new members to add to their already established team of enthusiastic and passionate leaders aged 15-24.

Providing an all-inclusive environment, the forum works together to give young people a voice within football by collaborating to identify and deliver projects aimed at enhancing football participation, volunteering and recognition opportunities for young people in the county.

Celebrating their ten-year anniversary in 2024, the aim and objective of the Youth Forum is clear: to drive a rejuvenated and holistic approach to grassroots football, developing fresh and new ideas. Youth Forum members can have their say on grassroots football through a platform to voice ideas and opinions, as well as engaging with children and young people. Members can lead on their own projects as well as assisting with key Essex County FA initiatives.

The roles available are on a voluntary basis. However, travel expenses are covered by the Essex County FA. Successful candidates must attend bi-monthly meetings throughout the season, demonstrating a level of commitment and consistency. During the season, there will be an opportunity to participate in various worthwhile and educational events.

Membership Responsibilities

* supporting County FA-led events and programmes
* helping to shape opportunities for young people within the county
* creating and implementing social media campaigns
