The Football Association have published their calendar and guide for equality, diversity and inclusion to support the grassroots game in their efforts to celebrate and promote the diversity of the football community throughout the 2024/25 season.

The calendar is updated each season, and is designed to raise awareness and understanding of different cultures, backgrounds and identities, as well as helping to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone participating in the game across the country.

Anyone who’s involved in running football, whether that be through a club, league or facility, can speak directly to people who may observe any of the dates mentioned in the document, to better understand their personal preferences and perspectives.

The guide also includes an update on The FA’s ongoing commitment to creating a more inclusive and representative football community. This includes hosting multiple faith events at Wembley Stadium, FA employees taking part in Pride events across the country, and continued growth in the women’s and girls’ game and disability football.
