The Essex Women’s Walking Football League is back underway for 2024 as the competition takes place for a second season, following on from the success of their inaugural league.

An exciting new chapter in women's football is progressing as the league features sides including Colchester Eagles, Paringdon Pirates (two teams), Leyton Orient, Southend Women (two teams) and Billericay (two teams). They’re all showcasing the growing popularity and success of Women's Walking Football in Essex.

The anticipation and excitement surrounding the launch of the second season in Essex was palpable, with players, coaches and fans eagerly counting down the days until the first whistle blew. Witnessing these eight teams competing is a thrilling spectacle, with each side bringing their unique style and approach to the game.
