BBC Essex Women's Cup Final Tickets Now Available
After some dramatic semi-finals, Billericay Town and Hashtag United Reserves will play for the BBC Essex Women’s Cup at Colchester United’s JobServe Community Stadium on Thursday 13th April. The showpiece event for the women’s game is being held at Colchester United for the first time, as part of a ‘Celebration of Female Football’ highlighting the growth in the women’s game.
An exciting development has been the confirmation that the Women’s EURO trophy our fantastic lionesses bought home in the Summer will be present with us at the stadium. More information regarding the Women's EURO Trophy will follow soon.

Colchester Park and Ride will be open on match day to provide parking for fans. More information can be found out about Park and Ride by clicking HERE.
Referee CPD
As well as the match, Essex referees can book themselves onto the Referee CPD event prior to the BBC Essex Women’s Cup Final and then enjoy the match too!
From 18:15, FA National Referee Manager and 1W Women's Super League Referee Lou Saunders has been lined-up to share her knowledge and experiences as well as how to progress, develop and improve your refereeing skills.
This season (2022/23), Lou has been appointed to three European fixtures as a fourth official and had trips to Juventus and Wolfsburg in the UEFA Women's Champions League as well as Montenegro vs Malta in the FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifier. She has recently refereed the FA Women's Continental Tyres Cup Semi-Final fixture between West Ham United and Chelsea.
Coaches CPD
Our Coach Development team are also running a workshop prior to the match.
Join us for a celebration of female coaches, with special guest Lucy Faraday - England Women's National Assistant Coach (16-17). Lucy will be sharing her coaching journey, including experiences of working in both the grassroots and professional game.
This will be a great opportunity to meet other female coaches and continue your personal development. Coach development staff from Essex County FA & The FA will be on hand to support.
The workshop will take place at The JobServe Community Stadium, prior to the BBC Essex Women's Cup Final between Billericay Town and Hashtag United Reserves.
A match ticket is included in the booking cost, and all attendees are invited to enjoy the match from the West Stand after the workshop has finished (7:45pm KO).
