Deadline Approaching to Join Youth Council
Enthusiastic football volunteers aged 16-24 have until Monday 19th September to apply to be one of a dozen members of the 2016/17 Essex County FA Yout
Individuals with a passion for football could represent children and young people on the Youth Council, whose vision is to inspire, empower and provide a voice for all youngsters so they can influence change and develop a lasting legacy.
The Youth Council have been together for two years and they provide a voice for young people, helping to deliver a variety of projects and programmes which support the FA National Game Strategy. In the last twelve months, these have included the County FA’s ‘Football Futures’ Programme and Camp, young leadership events and the annual Community Football Day.
Applicants will need to be committed to attending, and actively participating in, all monthly Youth Council meetings and be committed to the aims of the Youth Council in providing a voice for children and young people.
A willingness to actively participate in the work of the group is also required, as is the ability to support, and deliver at, a minimum of three events. Successful individuals must register, or already be registered with, the Essex County FA ‘Football Futures’ Programme and be willing to complete The FA’s CRC process.
