Clubs
#PlayYourPart Matchday Environment
a big thank you to all the clubs who support the game across Essex
Clubs are vital to football, and to creating a positive environment
Good clubs are welcoming, supportive, helpful, advocates of fair play, encouraging, friendly. Good clubs are not disorganised, unfair, negative or intimidating.
Good clubs value the safety, respect, learning and engagement of everyone involved. Be that positive influence. Be part of the reason why people love the game, not leave the game. Be a positive role model.

Grassroots Code
Created from conversations with grassroots clubs across the country, England Football and the Essex County FA hope participants will sign-up to a new ‘Grassroots Code’ and show they want to improve behaviour across every league.
Behaviour Improvement Resources
With seven in ten participants reporting that poor behaviour is a key issue in their football experience, it is the most significant factor negatively impacting participation and involvement in grassroots football today.
